It was hot. It was undeniably hot. The large female's tongue lolled out of her mouth, hanging limply as she walked slowly along. Her tail and head were hanging low, and she had the undeniable look of a dog who had lost quite a bit of weight in a short amount of time. Right now she was following her nose, because she could smell vast quantities of water not far off. At least she hadn't had any trouble in finding that. Soon enough the beach came into view, and before long it was lapping at her toes. She lowered her head, gulping at the water greedily. She drank until she couldn't hold anymore, and then moved into the water up to his ankles. She laid down, relishing in the coolness that washed over her.

The black she-wolf walked in her usual posture, her head low, ears flicking in all directions, her tail slightly held high and her dark eyes scanning the area for trouble. The black animal liked trouble but today was not the day to find trouble, the heat was bad enough and her having black fur didn't help any. The sound of water was a slightly comforting sound to the wolf. She made her way to the water and didn't notice at first that there was another standing in the water. The she-wolf walked up to the edge of the water and lapped at the cold liquid.
The black animal didn't know what she was going to do today. Her stomach growled as she thought about the fact that it had been three days since she had eaten last, though her fur was thick enough to hide her ribs which she was greatful for. After taking a long drink of water she looked at the other that was standing in the water.

Jassie felt a cool breeze tug at her fur as she stood in the water. Jassie toke a deep breath as she felt a pang of relief. Then she froze as she scented someone, another wolf. When the other wolf came into view she padded towards the water as she took a long drink Jassie studied her. She had a think pelt just like her except the color of her pelt was black. How can she survive in this heat she thought in her head as her eyes meet hers. Jassie looked at her with wide eyes filled with surprise but with a little hint of worry. Jassie took a little step back wondering if the other wolf might attach her, but she didn't look like she was wanting to cause any trouble. "Um hey there." she said quickly not knowing what to do.

The black wolf dipped her head in greeting to the other. Her ears flicking forward in the other's direction.
"You don't have to worry about me attacking if that's what your concern is. I have not interest in causing trouble for anyone today." her voice was flat and calm almost emotionless.
The she-wolf studied the other, she was slim. Lyca knew the signs of hunger and thirst, the wolf tilted her head to one side and then the other thinking about how she could put this animal at ease about her not wanting to cause trouble today. If it had been any other day Lyca would be around the humans stealing food and causing them grief, it was a hobby of hers when she wasn't in the Mafia Territory. The sound of humans screaming in joy caught the wolf's attention. Her ears flicking towards them but her eyes not leaving the other.

Jassie gave her slight nod in respect. "Oh ok then soooo...what brings you around here." she said coolly as she dipped her head into the water then she popped it back up from the water. Oh ok then she won't cause me any trouble she said in her head as she shook her head. Her ears flickered towards the noise of the little kids laughter then she glanced towards the kids. She then looked at the other wolf thinking they should move from the water.

Lyca turned her head to face the small family of humans. The adults were setting out fresh food and the one thing that they shouldn't have set out was a cooked turkey. A dangerous grin spread across her muzzle, she flicked her ears towards the other wolf.
"Are you hungry?" Lyca asked.
She didn't care about humans but they did have some pretty good food and the smell of the turkey was just making her mouth water.

Jassie looked at the family of humans as her mouth began to water. "Indeed I am hungry." she said as she toke a step forward. Then she looked at the other wolf waiting for a signal our something either to wait or go with her. Jassie's eyes narrowed as she eyed the children then at the turkey.

Lyca watched as the children ran towards the water and the adults soon followed after them. She waited until the humans were right at the edge of the water before she looked at the other wolf and nodded her head slightly. The black animal flicked her tail and raced off toward the turkey. It's warm scent filled her nose, Lyca had stolen food from humans on more than one occasion and she rather enjoyed making them angry about her stealing food. Most thought that she was nothing more than a large black dog but they would be wrong if she ever allowed a human to get close to her.

Jassie noticed her tail flick as she gave her a signal to follow. Jassie raced after her as water splashed ever were, in till she hit the hot sand. Jassie had never stolen food before from a human well only once in her life time, but this will be her second time taken food from a human again and it will be well worth it this time.
