Bjorn wandered through the urban streets of Staten Island, his rough pads barely making any noise against the concrete underneath them. He was hot, tired, and hungry as hell, and it did not help that he could barely walk as it is. Due to his health conditions and the fact he had not eaten since two weeks ago. If you looked at his bodily condition then you could see the signs of malnutrition and starvation. His fur was quite dirty and it had lost its blonde/brown lustrous glow that all saluki's possess. You could almost count his ribs along his deep barrel chest and his eyes were deep-set, if he lifted his lips from his fangs you could see his yellow teeth. In fact, yesterday one tooth had fallen out leaving him with one less defense weapon. The male stopped as another wave of pain racked his sickly body, and he did the movement all dogs do once they are about to start hacking. He retched; black, sticky blood hitting the pavement with a wet ‘thump.’ He heaved once more and another puddle appeared next to the former, once he finished-he bared his fangs in a disgusted grimace. Great-now his mouth was filled with a terrible after-taste. “Why must I be the one to bear this.” He croaked, his vocal cords having not been used since the last time he came in contact with another canine.

The black she-wolf walked with a triumphet smirk on her muzzle as a large chuck of roasted pork hung from her jaws. The freshly cooked meal had been left unguarded by the humans who had cooked the meat. Her miuth watering as her tongue grazed the meat. She walked with purpose back to where she had come from when she had to stop for a moment to allow herself to gain contril over her hunger. She sat the meat on the concrete before her paws and shook herself hoping to rid her mind of eating the meat herself. That's when she spotted the animal ahead of her. She tensed as she looked the animal over, ribs showing, she had seen the signs of hunger before before and had felt it many times before herself.
Yet she wasn't as hungry at the dog before her looked. True she rarely showed that she cared about others but she did most never saw that side of her because of her deadoan expression. She looked at the meat that laid at her paws and thought about what to do.
