It was a beautiful night, the she wolf had to give it that. The stars above were twinkling neatly in the sky above her head. For a moment, she paused, lowered her haunches and looked at her reflection in the pond that seemed to swallow her up. She had been alone for such a long time, and these lands had been no different. She stared at herself for a good long time, her tail wrapped neatly over light colored paws . All she could think about were her family. Her tail swished slightly and the only sound she could hear were frogs and crickets. Suddenly the breeze brushed another scent into the air, and she twisted her head to find the source.A smarter wolf would have run, but not her. She was still young and dumb. Her curiosity always got the best out of her and it was no surprise. So she slowly padded towards the scent as she cleared her throat. "Anyone there." she barked quickly.

The night brought a nice feel with it. It wasn't to cold but not exactly warm either. But despite the weather Mimi knew she had to find shelter for the night. Perhaps she'd dig herself a den under some bushes or just find a bench to sleep under either way she needed shelter. However as of right now the doberman needed food. She raised her narrow snout and sniffed at the air. Nothing but the night air and a subtle stink. Probably from some creature decomposing or something, Mimi wasn't sure but what she did know was that it wasn't food.
When a small dark shape moved from under a bush she immediately lunged at it crushing it under her paws. With a careful move she lifted one paw and sniffed at it. The shape smelled weird and upon closer expectation Mimi saw a frog. The frog was still kicking and if she let it go Mimi surmised that it would more then likely get away so she took it up in her jaws and clamped down firmly on the amphibian. Then she moved out from the bushes and into a more open area of the park where she could make out the shapes of benches here and there. As her eyes roamed and landed on a bench not to far from her, Mimi's eyes narrowed. She slowly made her way toward what looked like another dog but when she got to her bench she could see that the dog was not a dog. Mimi crawled under the bench and began to eat her frog all the while eyeing the other canine suspiciously.
After Mimi quickly gulped down her frog she laid her head on her paws and watched the other canine for activity. She wouldn't be giving her spot up to anyone.

Jassie padded towards the scent as it got stronger with the scent of blood as well. Well maybe they got a snack she thought as she stopped. She noticed another canine laying down under a bench but she was not a wolf like her, it was a dog with a black and brown pelt. Jassie kept her distance as she watched the dog with wide eyes. "Hello there." she barked with an unsteady voice. As she maintained her distance to show respect.
